Sura Fajar ,The Morning

I swear by the daybreak,
And the ten nights,
And the even and the odd,
And the night when it departs.
Truly in there is an oath for those who understand.
Have you considered how Allah, Your Creator, dealt with the people of Ad, the Adites; ( fifth generation of Noah people)
And with their city of Iram with its lofty and strong architectural pillars imposing, by reason of beauty coupled with magnitude that was indeed grand,,
The like of which was never created in the land,
And (with) Samood, who hewed out the rocks in the valley,
And (with) Firon, who killed people on sharpe spikes,
All of whom practiced tyrannies in the land;
So they made great mischief , conflict
In consequence did Allah, your Creator, requite them with. painful misfortunes
Most surely your Lord is watching.
And as for man, when his Lord tries him, then treats him with honor and makes him lead an easy life, he says: My Lord honors me.
But when He tries him (differently), then straitens to him his means of subsistence, he says: My Lord has disgraced me.
Nay! but you do not honor the orphan,
Nor do you urge one another to feed the poor,
And you eat away the inhertiance, devouring (everything) indiscriminately,
And you love wealth with exceeding love.
Nay! when the earth is made to crumble to pieces,
And your Lord comes and (also) the angels in ranks,
That Day Hell will be brought close, people will then remember. But how will remembering benefit them now?
They will say, I wish that I had invested in my life.
None can torture as Allah will torture on that Day,
And no one will bind with chains like His.
To the righteous soul it will be said, O you soul in complete rest and satisfaction.
Return to Your Lord cheerfully and loved;
Join My devotees
And take up your abode in My Paradise .
