Virgin coconut oil has a high smoke point and adds a mild flavour when used in cooking. It is also an ideal alternative to use in baking. Look for virgin coconut oil and avoid the hydrogenated forms. A good quality coconut oil is not only good to eat but also makes a great massage oil and moisturizer.
